On my pre cat Griff the heater flaps work , but the temperature one doesn't if I manual change it no problem I guess the solenoid is sticking are they available looked at Racetech website couldn't see the part is that the part required cheers

your photo isn't a solenoid, it's a small electric motor controlled by two micro switches attached to the same bracket as that motor. I've got mine out at the moment, one of the switches has broken.
Briefly putting 12v to the red and black wires into the motor will tell you if that's okay, swap them around and it'll turn the other direction

Lots of notes/photo's before you start pulling things apart


There are diodes in those link wires on the switches, gotta go back right way round wink

Switches and diodes are readily available and very cheap on places like ebay

Phillpot, thanks job for future. Done manual adjustment for now heater fan not fantastic being under headlight
