new headshield made from an 0.1mm stainless steel sheet with 8mm kevlar insulation below. I hope it will be an improvement 😄

Nice, job! Well worth doing, gotta love shiny bits but they’re pretty difficult to polish down there!

I wrapped mine with DEI floor and tunnel shield as an easy 2in 1 solution and it has made a massive difference to cabin temperature, My cerb got pretty toasty before - unfortunately I can’t simply take off the roof!!

If anyone’s wants to go this route if it helps I found it’s loads cheaper (but still not cheap) to buy in the states....

Very nice, this look like an real improvement biggrin and a lot of work. The material for my heatshields are from a company called HJS, it was round about 100€ the square meter.

Very nice and looks as if it will last. Where did you source the materials from ?

Bought it on eBay. When you cut the stainless steel sheet, add 10mm around and bend them 180 degrees. Otherwise your heatshield will be sharp as a knife.... and when you remove the old heatshields, don’t kill them, they will be very useful as an template .
