Griffith Pages are back
Discussion
Is it fully up or are there still articles waiting to be moved over from the old site?
I seem to be having issues - trying to access the mods and maintenance I (randomly) selected electrical and HID upgrades.
There does seem to be something there but the format has the text in a column about 10 characters (not words) wide down the left. Have all the illustrations been lost because I can;t see any.
Might be browser dependent I'm running on a Mac with Safari 5.1.2

Is Simon still running it, or has someone else taken over ??
Still Simon I think.I mailed him to ask if I could have access to the files to host them as I know he's moved on on the car front.
He didn't reply to me but I saw that he asked for some help on sorting out the DB on Joomla so I assume that has worked.
It seems to work OK in my Browser IE8 but lots of content still missing.

Does seem a shame that the Griffith pages are still not working. This does need to be handed over to someone who can reinstate them and update with new content.
I would be more than happy to help out with hosting charges, content, admin, whatever needs doing if Simon is willing to let them go.

Problem with that is all the content is still missing. Good reminder of the basics though so maybe worthwhile looking at as a starting point.I have my Griffitheditor URL.
Oddly, I was talking to one of my team tonight about this because he has his own website following his Cobra build and subsequent engine build he is doing now.
Its a basic site he built with Frontpage which I'm familiar with so I got thinking I could maybe resurrect The Griffith Pages.
I'm mates with Simon and have emailed him about it. I don't think I'm skilled enough to repair the old site but if we recover anything of the old site I'll give it a go at building a basic site and see where we go from there.

I've never met him but he ignored me despite knowing I'm passionate hopefully you'll have more success. If you struggle with hosting etc I'm sure the TVRCC would be willing host them in the general ie non member areas as all the model zones are open to all.Forums | Griffith | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
