Dear all

I may need to sell my stunning LS Griffith this year and I am in need to advice about the price. It is like a new car as it has had a complete nut and bolt rebuild by Ian at Sportmotive.

But due to a illness and a divorce I may need to part with the beloved car to help in a house purchase.

Whats it worth??? Any idea's would be greatly appricated regarding a sale price

Deepest Thanks

A few pics of interior, engine and underneath would help put on value on it, plus recorded details, e.g. was the donor car CAT C/D?

JLF is the guys user name he has had a few threads on here recently with regards to doing a LS conversion on a Griffith or tamora! Your car could be what he wants, I wish I had the money cars like this do not come up often!

My son enjoying the car!!

Since the car was finished it has cover less than 3000 miles so it is still like new as I have been in and out of Hospital.

If you’re getting divorced, do you really want your Ex-to be or her solicitor to know what it’s really worth?

I would say £29,995 in the classifieds would be about where I would expect it to be if it was a truly mint and sorted example.

Probably worth starting about there and seeing what interest you get, but Fernhurst have two much younger 500 SE's for about the same so it may be a bit steep for a 93 car. Will also depend if the car was been rebuilt from a write-off, as, irrespective of condition, that would affect the price.

I would rather have a sorted LS car than a 500SE, even if it was older, but perhaps that's just me.

I know what you mean, I had a mildly modified wink LS3 VXR8 for 3 years as well as TVR's. But the average buyer is put off by mods of any variety so I doubt it will command a premium, but its worth trying.

Wow, this would really appeal if it was available. It's partly the general rebuild and partly the powertrain....I hope you get to keep it!

I'd say £30k wouldn't come across as too expensive. I suspect there'll be a small number of extremely interested people.

Just put it in someone elses name you can trust smile

Dont lose it now after everything you have done...if its not your asset anymore it wont be part of any settlement surely...

Never been married but I wouldnt let anyone take that away from me!
