I bought my cover from this place http://www.cover-zone.com/product_range.php
You must've been the chap Simon was talking about when I was down at Fernhurst on Saturday morning.

Hi guys, just done about a thousand mile around trip to drop off my old car (the last S ever made) and pick up a 5 litre Griffith in midnight blue.
I just wanted to say hi and ask what is the best indoor car cover for a griff?
Thanks!
Hi Steve and welcome to the 'Griff Zone' where strange things happen.....I just wanted to say hi and ask what is the best indoor car cover for a griff?
Thanks!
Anyway, back to reality! I had my in garage cover custom made by Classic Additions, had the logo in gold and gold piping. Absolutely cracking item, superb quality and a perfect fit. Cannot recommend them highly enough. All the best, Pete (aka PeteGriff)

Congratulations! However that's the fourth reasonably priced 500 Griff I've lost out on recently as was speaking to Simon at Fernies early last week about that one. You weren't put off with high mileage obviously. Keep it between the hedges!!
If you don't mind me asking, what do you mean by reasonably priced (in the context of the 4 Griffs you missed from Fernhurst)?Mike. You have misunderstood my post.Only 1 of the 500's was at Fernhurst,N281,92k,96N £11750 straight.Fair enough Simon did give me the opportunity to buy blind. Outbid on ebay last week 94M,47k,£10500. Last Dec outbid on Ebay,95M excellent mods(SteveGRF) £13500.Prior to that 95N,63k,dealer at Thatcham at £9995. Bought by PeteMac £9400.I couldn't get over in time!!
Still looking.
Still looking.
John, I still don't know why you are not looking at this one, which considering the low mileage looks to be well priced:

Are you only looking to buy from dealers because you may be paying a premium for a (relatively) worthless warranty. It is much more important that the overall car is in good nick.
It's got a short MOT but I am sure you can make an offer, subject to the MOT being renewed. A new MOT in itself should give you some comfort over the state of the chassis etc.

Looks a good car for that money. I am in Worcs if you want me to have a look for you?http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t...
Peter. Thanks for your comments.Defo trying to avoid dealers as totally agree with you warranty views as prob worthless over here. Have my eye on 3 Griffs incl blue car at Worcester. Vendor is abroad til next sun, 3rd, so unless he picks up my email nothing will happen til then. Bob,will certainly take up your offer of a look once I speak to owner.Car is in Worcester as opposed to Worcestershire. Thanks again.
Hi Steve,
Firstly, congratulations on your Griff. Looks a fine beast.
I'm very interested in your S. I've spoken to Simon at Ferns. I wondered if you'd mind telling me about the car. I'm thinking of seeing it on Saturday. The car looks lovely, but it feels about 2k too much to me.
Your ownership experience and feelings about the car would be most welcome.
Thanks,
Nigel
