Anyone else wash the Griff with the roof off?

I can't remember when I last washed it with the roof on. Lives in the garage with a small cover just in case the garage has a leak!
Summer = roof of, back down all the time, even in the garage.
Winter = roof off, back up, just in case I get caught out in the rain. Don't want to pull the back up in the cold weather and split the window.

Not a good idea IMO to keep the back down all the time, it's not good for the rear window - although the photo in the garage seems to show the back up?

I never drive my Griff with rear section raised. It causes to much buffeting and it's actually far more comfortable driving with the rear lowered and the heater on full. So it's roof on or fully down for me. And yes I often wash it with the roof off.

Often wash the car with the roof off after returning from a drive, generally its roof off but rear section raised for me as I'm mindful of damaging the rear screen, but as mentioned it does cause some buffeting, and at higher speeds I'm pretty certain it begins to act like a sail .....as the front end gets very light and steering goes all vague on me.
