Outriggers/chassis

Hi all
Opinions on value for money, outriggers need doing this year so looking at chassis resto.
It's a early 93 griff 430 with silver chassis which other than outriggers chassis looks in reasonable nick.
Been looking at Neil garner for 4500 plus vat then added extras for fuel lines etc, then you have tvr central for 5500 plus vat but get new chassis,new wishbones new bushes,new fuel lines,braided brake hoses and new carpet interior which seems value for money or is this over kill.
Looking to spend 5000 pds but want as much done for this as possible.
Other needs are,
New roof
Wheel refurb
Front respray
Any ideas chaps

Give me a call tomorrow, (see candidpictures.co.uk for contact details) going or gone through all on your list. Safety comes first. Get the outriggers done or anything else that involves your safety... Done first!
As mentioned in the other recent outriggers postings, frightening what I have seen and discussed with Neil. As you may know mine is next to be done and mine could equally come up with some shock results.
Otherwise happy to meet up for a beer to discuss. Mine is still on the cards for a respray and finish the trimming, where else but Blackpool! As you know, wheel refurb is on your door step in Swindon. £80 per wheel. But as said, common sense rules, safety first... Metal work!

Pete, have a look at my thread on nut and bolt rebuild. Have you considered doing some of the work yourself?
I reckon the chassis is the absolute cornerstone to my rebuild, everything else is secondary. I think you could do the chassis, wishbones, bushes, shox etc., put it all back together and then do the other stuff bit by bit.
I am currently abroad and don't return to Blighty until 6th March (that's providing the whole of the UK is not under a foot of water by then...)but when I am back I am happy to discuss, show you what I am doing, you might be interested in my galvanizing the chassis.
I am not sure I can give you advise but certainly you can share my experience and then form your own opinion.

See what I can get done on the chassis side for 5k but still think central tvr chassis replacement etc seems on the face
Of it a good deal! What do you fellas think?
I don't have the time or the space do any myself, rather leave it to the experts.
Did look at sportomtive but starting at 7k plus is a little more than I wanted to spend this year
6k ish a year is my budget until the car is back to a1 condition

I have a 92 4.3 grif and also looking a the options for chassis rebuild / replace ,the chasses has been inspected by two different TVR garages and told its fine , I dropped into RT Racing some weeks back they office chassis rebuilds , quoted me £4 k plus VAT for body removal chassis rebuild /repair and powder coat , extra cost for things like new petrol pipes bushes ect, I was impressed with the workshop tour. I could do it myself but it would just end up being a very long job , I have considered a new chassis from powers and just swapping the bits over !!

Bit of a lull whilst I am away in Kazakhstan but back 6th March. Struggling to decide what to do about the Green Meanie but at the end of the day it looks like engine out and engine rebuild.
I am looking forward to seeing how the chassis galv goes. Pete
I'm on my third pre-cat and the most cost effective way by far, long term is to do it all in one go.
