Seatbelt spacers
Discussion
Does anyone know where I can find the spacers that hold the seatbelt mounting points away from the chassis? Mine are badly rotten and one had to be drilled out to remove the body.
They take a 7/16" UNF bolt through the middle and are either 1/2" or 1/4" deep. If I had a lathe they would be pretty easy to knock up I guess but sadly I don't have space for all the tools I'd like.
Cheers,
Simon

I could do with some as well. Are there only two? because that is all I took off and yes I confirm the size. Pete
My car has the following:- Reels have 1x1/2" + 1x1/4" on each bolt
- Transmission tunnel has 1x1/2"
- Outrigger has 1x1/2"
They are all BZP mild steel by the look of them.

Thanks Pete, that's a really kind offer. Might take you up on that as I haven't had any luck in finding them so far. I'll give it a few days to see if the PH knowledge bank has any ideas.Cheers,
Simon
I could do with 4 of the half inch spacers too - will call on Monday.
and yes, the bolt is 7/16 UNF.
I also need some extenders of suitable strength. Not the usual ones, as featured on the S forum, for the top mount, but something to move my harness eyebolts off the floor. I replaced my normal seatbelt bolts with eyebolts, so that i could clip my track day harnesses in when they are required. All fine, until I came to put the standard seats, or even Elise seats, back in - Elise seats won't fit, standard seats are snug against the eyebolts, which means they no longer adjust forwards and backwards.
So ideally the extenders will be about 3-6 inches long, have a 7/16 UNF hole at the bottom , but with a hole similar to a harness eyebolt at the top, so that i can clip the harnesses onto it with the harness in line with the outrigger (so with the eyebolt head facing side to side).
Any suggestions?
Pic of eyebolt so you know WTF I am talking about.

Just answered my own question - these would do the job for my lower harness fixing issue.
