Hi all,

Just after a bit of advice after slightly overfilling the griff on the oil change. I'm about 5mm above max on the dipstick. Run with it as is or try to drain a few 100ml out, I guess the only option is to try to let a bit out of the sump plug without dropping it and losing £60 of fuchs finest.

Thanks in advance,

Mark

5mm? I'd leave it.

Presume you have had the engine running nw? i.e the filer is full etc?

Its not too hard to do as long as the engine is cold.

Leave it Mark, it will be OK
You overfill slightly for track days to counter oil surge issues as it sloshes around in the sump.
5mm won't do it any harm

Correct it wont do any harm. Its an old racing technique for offroading.
