Poor idle

4.3 BV - emerald ecu - no idle control valve

Went out last week on a hot day - temperature of engine was fine

In stationary traffic idle speed would range from 800 to 1200 revs

On the move pulled like a train - no effect

Recently serviced - any suggestions?

Recently serviced, take it back? Stepper motor would be my first check.

Hi 5.0ltr - I thought stepper motor but it no longer appears to have wires to it - thought it may be redundant now due to emerald - service was done by me

Has been running fine for several months since service

Is the Vacuum pipe to fuel regulator still attached.

Brake servo pipe ok.

Sticky throttle cable? Idle symptoms typical of 14 Cux ECU. Should not happen with Emerald!?
