And what would be wrong with the politeness of just expressing this?? Mark tries to organize something for which he believes there is demand. If you don't want to participate or don't want to participate in organizing why don't you just sáy so?? I think Mark (and all other volunteers who try to organize something) doesn't deserve to be treated this way.
As expressed before, myself -being a Griff-owner- would really like a joint event. The combination would make a substantial volume, which i think is critical for both groups. Besides we can enjoy friendly rivalry.
It are both just TVR's, so why not enjoy them together with the Wedgers??

Thanks Dries...At this rate it looks to be still the Wedgefest/BBWF 2015 but the Griffs are our guest's and we want them to come along and have a good weekend..Our Dutch brothers are always welcome and are always encouraged to come regardless if they drive Wedges..Griffs..Sags..Or even Ferrari's..
It would be nice for someone to represent the Griff owners to take care of some of the similar things that we do like the DB shoot-out..BHP challenge..Concourse car..Worst car..Raffle..Auto-jumble...And any fund raising for charity...We could all sit down and eat and drink together on the Saturday night also..I will obviously need to know how many people to cater for..I have some plans for the weekends activity..Might even get the tug of war rope out the cupboard for a GVW tug of war on the green after much alcohol...
..Although the "Orangemen 2013" will be hard to beat....
I think changing the name was a bit ambitious but hopefully this won't hinder anyone coming..If someone could work with me it would be really good..If Mr B doesn't want to do it then thats his choice..Hopefully he will bring the Wedge and enjoy the weekend with us...
TBC....

Being in the middle of quite some deals myself i dare to state; nó one is to busy to have the minute and the politeness to make clear if one is willing to cooperate or not.
And besides this same person dóés have the time to react on other threads, even during the last few days and so also since Mark is trying to get a hold of him.
I saw a thread where he confirmed he would be attending anyway, so it's a miracle to me why you can not just express yourself.
I start to find it quite annoying and impolite to well-willing volunteers like Mark and i don't know whether i want to visit events with people like this.
We are a club with enthusiast who share the passion for TVR and we should all be very carefull and happy with people who are trying to attribute to the celebration of the brand by organizing ánything.....

Infinity - I have not spoken to Paul since we closed the Charity T shirt business, did you buy one And besides this same person dóés have the time to react on other threads, even during the last few days and so also since Mark is trying to get a hold of him.

? For me Paul is dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn't. But lets not forget its all for charity and is run by volunteers, seemingly attacking those volunteers "quite annoying and impolite" on a forum may not help IMHO. Thanks Guys...Its kind of in hand..Hopefully Paul will be in touch when he is not so busy..As I'm planning already for the fest then i will post up on here as to the plan for the weekend..You are our guests so you need to be informed...Hopefully we can mingle together and enjoy the event...Cheers...Ziga

Would it help and save bandwidth if I just sent you his phone numbers? If he is busy a voicemail can be left?
Thanks for the offer Bob...But i think i will wait to see if Mr B contacts me..Im hoping that you guys can join us in what i have planned for the weekend for the Wedges but with obvious differences for the model as regards to some static challenges, And i don't mean burnouts...(Mores the pity)..
..My only concerns are numbers so people need to let me know "Who's coming" via a private email..(This kind of info is not suitable for public consumption). Also there is a need for people to book alternative accomodation to the chase as of NOW if they are staying over..The surrounding area is just as busy so rooms will be space all round...
TBC...
