HI lads need your help again , can you tell me if the wheel studs on the front wheels knock out ,is it a matter of removing the caliber and hub or is there more to do hope you can help many thanks paul

Yes, they knock out with a soft-faced hammer/mallet. It's possible to do it with the brakes in situ, just rotate the disc until the stud will clear the suspension when it comes out.

It's a bit fiddly getting the new ones in with the discs on the car because they need a good whack to seat them. I got them so far in then used an old nut and a spacer to draw the studs tightly home.

Had a look and ithink i will take hub off as there is more room

Paul, I pressed mine out with the hubs off but it's the same difference. They have an interference fit on the splines. Pete

No need to remove callipers, I've done mine a few times.
I could only seem to get them in and out at about the 2 o'clock position.
Hit out with a hammer and then pull the new ones through using a larger nut as a spacer in-between the wheel nut and hub

Do one at a time then you can use a bar or crowbar etc to lock the hub in place while tightening up.
