Incidentally, I read somewhere recently there is still a draw on power if the relay is activated by a door being open - even if the interior lights have been turned off.
It might well explain a couple of mysterious flat batteries I've had as I've been known not to bother shutting the doors when I'm working on the car in the garage.

I don't shut the doors either ! Could be what's draining the batt on mine too.

That was the issue with my car for years,,,,, found out the pin was not been pushed all the way home when the door was shut...... if testing and lying in footwell with volt meter you'll push switch home manually and close the circuit and all looked good, but if checked with door closed it was still pulling a current...... solution new rubber contact pads on doors .... took 3 years to work this out boxedin
