In view of the recent thread suggesting a quiet forum, I thought I would post my humiliating experience this morning.

I am after a plastic cap that goes over the seatbelt, just above your shoulder. I'm missing one. Its a pre-cat 1992 Griff.

Rung up a famous breakers yard, VISA in hand, and was practically laughed off the phone. The minimum they would sell is an entire seatbelt assembly.

Now I could understand this if the part was labour intensive to remove; its not profitable right? But this could be removed from a car and popped into a jiffy bag in under 30 seconds.

Oh well, the search continues. I think it might be a land rover part.

And, when I do need that big-ticket item (god forbid) said famous breakers will be at the bottom of my list.

See you at Burghley with hopefully a matching pair! ;-)

Ford I think. Recall my dads 2001 Transit van had these - maybe it was the one before that about 1994.
Seem to remember my mk2 Escort having these too.
