cheers for that, sounds familiar - any more suggestions from recent experience?
If you can go somewhere local and get the car up on a ramp, give it a good steam clean cleaning and scrub underneath to get all the old wax oil off and road debris etc. This too will help your paint key to the surface better then use something like Dinitrol to seal the POR15 in. no muck under car
dry weather use and only 20k miles - just that outriggers are losing the factory token mist of paint and showing start of surface rust (hopefully thats all!) so intend sanding them (can you still get coarse emery on a roll?)
Then i want to neutaralise any existing rust
Then protect / paint silver
then perhaps waxoil on top of silver POR15?
