The filter from tvr parts is out of stock, does anyone know another supplier or is there an alternative part that can be used?

Note that I'm after replacing the in tank filter rather than the fuel filter on the high pressure side.

You could always put a simple filter between the tank and the pump, although not much room.

The internal filter is a PITA to remove although checking mine last week (I am replacing the fuel lines)after 19 years it was very clean with hardly any muck. A bit of a surprise.

The fuel lines on a Griffith are a bodgers delight, 6 connections on the return feed where a single hose with just two connections would suffice. SS braided hose to replace the copper/rubber originals.

What would TVR have done without tie wraps and silicon sealant, they are everywhere!

I did not realise that there was an intank filter until I removed the supply pipe to explore how to add a inline filter. As you say there is very little room, and it would be easier to replace the in-tank filter while it is out.

Why do you need to replace it, is it damaged?

I just swilled mine in petrol and put it back, although the sealing washer broke during the process.
My friendly TVR dealer ordered and supplied a new one all for 60p!
