Fuel Temperature sensor ???
Discussion
Hi - have had some running issues with my TVR Griffith 500 for a while now. When accelerating it fells like it does not get enough fuel especially below 3000 RPM (the acceleration does not feel smooth). Sometimes when cruising at low revs it will stall completely - I will then take away the gas and it will come back to life.
When connecting to the Rover Gauge software I noticed that the fuel temperature stayed continuously at 25 deg C, even though it was a hot day and the water temperature went up to 90 deg C. Could this be the cause of my trouble - should I change the fuel temperature sensor - any alternative part available ?
Any help much appreciated ;- )

My pre-cat has a fuel temperature sensor, its screwed into the fuel rail towards the front. I thought it would be an excellent way to de-pressurise the rail as you have lots of room to wrap some rag round it.....
However, when I unscrewed it, no fuel emerged whatsoever. Looking into the hole and its not actually drilled through. There is no contact between fuel and sensor. Based on this, it wouldn't surprise me that it is a redundant sensor used for certain Range Rover foreign climates and just 'ignored' on a software level.
