Rear light delay
Discussion
Good morning all,
When turning on the side lights I've recently noticed a slight delay between the lights coming on at the front and then the rear. Both the front and rear lights always come on without fail, however, the front lights turn on instantly, but the rear lights can be anything from instant to a few seconds before they are on.
I've noticed that the rear lights must be on the same circuit as the lamp that illuminates the cigarette lighter as this behaves in the same way/same delay as the rear lamps.
Is it likely to be a relay or a bad earth point. If it's earthing, where would that likely be for the lights?
Edited to add that the dash lights illuminate immediately and once on none of the lamps flicker, just a delay between pressing the button and the rear lamps turning on.
Cheers
