Looks like Craig's plates are still helping us out with backlit plates

I've noticed that CriagsPlates don't to 'show' plates any more, only 100% standard UK spec ones needing the V5 to be sent etc. Thanks for the tip for Fancy Plates: just been and ordered plates for the new reg on the Griff.

That's just a bluff for the DVLA, they will do anything you want...........Do you think they will bother with receiving and sending back the v5......

Another +1 for Fancyplates - they're based in Ireland so can make anything you want without seeing V5s etc, including TVR backlit plates.

+1 here, just do what Paul has said above. All works easy and efficiently and a good price, plates top notch quality. I had the BSAU 145d reference put in the bottom R/H corner (makes them look all official). Also I had TVR in the border I chose, which makes them look like actual dealer plates. Have a play around with the different layouts. Finally, I replaced the two yellow glow festoon bulbs with a nice new pair of bright white LED types. Regard, Pete
