Throttle cable snapped :-(

So 8 years after buying the Griffith my first throttle cable failure. I have a replacement inner cable with a screw down nipple but was wondering if it would be best to replace the entire assembly?

As long as your outer isn't kinked or breaking down anywhere it shouldn't be a problem, I'd stick a Wd40 nozzle down the end and lubricate until you have liquid coming out the other end,,

As Alun said but I recommend something more slippery as a lube.

You can buy a can of cable lube and a little gizmo that clamps on the outer to lube efficiently with no mess.

I find 3 in 1 oil good for this as its nice and thin viscosity wise. The nozzle makes it easy to apply too.
