Had a run out from Sunderland over the penines to Penrith today for a small car show at Hutton in the Forest.

Weather was a bit claggy at Hartside but I hate putting the roof up.

Weather brightened up a lot after a couple of hours in Penrith so have the reward of a burnt neck to show for it

2 other TVRs there, a Chimaera from Tees Valley and a local Tuscan from Ulverston

That is a great run - in my old Geordie-land days I especially liked the section going back from Alston to Hexham. The weather however, as you point out, can mess it all up a bit smile

'Shackleton Green'

You obviously know the car then - which owner or was it more than 1

I was caller number three when it went up for sale down south a while back.
I recognised it from the griff book but just wasn't quite quick enough with the phone! Lovely car - enjoy smile
