The gap doesn't seem to be adjustable, any info. or ways of testing the pick up? cheers, John.

As above constant energy pick ups aint that fussy scratchchin if you want a spare gubbins let me know I am about to gut a standard dizzy to make up a cam sensor (winter project) whistle

In case this is of any use to you, I made up a cam sensor for the intermediate serp timing cover. It's designed to work with an easy-to-get Honeywell hall sensor fitted in the timing cover and provide one pulse per rotation, working in conjunction with a crank trigger. I have a few spares since this was the most efficient way to get them made.
