Washer hoses behind bulkhead
Discussion
Hi, I know that this topic has been up before, but I can't find it using the search function. Well, I need to get access to the washer hoses since the tube connectors going through the bulkhead have broken. I'm aware of the painful fact that I will have to create a hole in the bulkhead, from behind the dashboard, to get access.
Before cutting, can somebody perhaps help me point out more exactly where to cut and how big the hole ought to be? A picture would be great. I have the dashboard out and realize that I will have to detach the cable harness running along the bulkhead.
Thank you in advance!

Hi, I had a similar problem a few years ago with a broken bulkhead tube connector. After searching this forum, I found someone had come up with the solution of dropping the windscreen wiper mechanism and working through the hole where the wiper wheel box penetrates the bulkhead.
I tried this method and was able to hook the washer hose and replace the broken plastic fitting. I was very time consuming but worked well without cutting an additional hole.
Good luck.
