Exhaust manifolds
Discussion
I wouldn’t spend money ceramic coating old manifolds.
I don’t like heat wrap tape for various reasons. Therefore, if you want to insulate your manifolds, say to reduce under bonnet temps, then ceramic coating is the way to go.
It is expensive. I believe it is effective. (I have ACT ceramic coated manifolds).
Whether or not it is worth the money is highly subjective and something only you can decide on. For what it’s worth, if I needed new manifolds, I would do the same again.

Which are the better manifolds ? ACT or CF ?
ACT outsource manifold manufacture to JPExhausts. Clive Ford makes them himself. I have both ACT & CliveF and IMO the CliveF is significantly superior. My ACT units became blotchy within months. ACT have offered to re-polish them but that means removing, transporting and refitting, a job I don't want to do I have the ACT manifolds, which I am very pleased with. What I would say was that when I had an issue them (which I must stress was not the fault of ACT), ACT were super helpful in trying to sort it out for me.
I cannot compare them to the Clive Ford manifolds as I have never had any. & Indeed, it may be the case that Clive Ford would have been just as helpful as Tim Lammont was, if the circumstances were similar.
