Two issues that may or may not be related.
General info Griff Pre Cat Tune R2422 Map 2.

MAF...At idle RG shows 34% Direct but 0% Linear. Direct changes with revs but linear remains at zero. Voltages at the MAF are all quite normal.

No matter what I try it will not go into idle (green light)
TPS 2% corrected 6% Absolute
Stepper 6% when RPM about 850
Base idle 600
No road speed
Coolant 99*
Fuel 17*

BUT
Put a different ECU on with the same tune and all is good.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Steve

Have you tried swapping the tune chips over to prove if its a faulty PCB or corrupt PROM chip.

The green idle indicator does NOT work on R2422, its an issue with early tunes.

RG says the ECU I used as a replacement was R2422 and gave a green light so even that may not be what it claims to be. It normally lives in my 97 serp chim.

The chip in the (non working) ECU looks to be original Land Rover as it has a plastic cap on it with 'Lucas' moulded in the top and the chip has no additional (felt tip) TVR type markings.

Will have to try swapping the chips tomorrow. Not happy doing it as I'm always scared of breaking a pin or something.

Your 97 Chimmy shouldn't be running R2422, any chance of a screen shot as I want to check if Colin found a work around for the target idle indicator for early chips.
Ease the chip out a few mm at each end with a flat screw driver under the chip.

Right, swapped the chips over and it is definitely the chip. Fixed both problems.

Steve...What screen shots did you want as in what are you expecting to see?
