Baffled, Rev issue
Discussion
So, had a high revving engine, cleaned out the stepper, put it back in and she was running sweetly, pulling well, so I thought, I decided I would be a little enthusiastic with the throttle and see what happened,
Pulled all the way up in any gear until I hit about 3250, then she shunts, feels like a cut out or as is she drops one side cylinders. Also quite a whiff of un-burnt fuel when I park up. So running rich
She starts is lumpy and then settles at 1000 rpm tickover.
Any ideas? I do not have a rover gauge, but am guessing a lambda sensor?

Could be one or many issues and guessing isnt a good approach in the hope you stumble on a fix.
It could be any of the ignition components, afm, tps lambda or both lambdas injectors, fuel pump or pressire regulator or valve and cam shaft related.
Start with getting rovergauge hopked up and see where that gets you.
