Hi All,

I have taken out the Lambda sensor and can see that the threads could do with a refresh with a tap. Can anyone advise what thread these are?

Thanks!

M18x1.5 I believe is the standard size.

Oliver,

When I was looking for blanking plugs to fill my unwanted holes (Chim') I used M12 x 1.25 because the M18 x 1.5 I first ordered where to big.
Maybe they come with different size holes. Measure the sensor to get the correct diameter.

Thanks - I went onto Ebay and bought a pair of sensor reamers, one at each size. The threads are just a bit bruised. Would you recommend using Copper Ease or similar when refitting?

Cheers

Nickel anti-seize paste copper-slip wont cut the mustard for this kind of deal, most new 02 sensors come pre-lubed with this on the threads already , and just to confirm they are an unusual thread same as older Nissans M12 X 1.25 so typically a Japanese thread biggrin

Thanks Sardonicus - noted. I have found an aluminum paste (for Furnace bolts etc) that is apparently Lambda safe. Should do the trick...
