Now the car is fresh back from TVR101 with its new walnut dash (wasn't a fan of the turned stainless one) I think the car is crying out for a wooden wheel.

I think it will be a bit more style over substance sort of thing as the car has no power steering and it will probably be easier to hoik the wheel over when parking with the nice grippy leather than shiny slim wood.

I may have to get some Alan Partridge string back gloves for the extra purchase.

Anyway...where do we stand regards boss change and PCD?...what other factors do I need to take into account and/or buy in addition to the wheel?...anyone done this then regretted it and reverted?

I've just taken this off my car to swap it for a black leather wheel.
This one needs a new home.

I did drop Moto-Lita a quick email querying compatibility of this for the TVR

They did reply...but its a bit complicated!

"Thank you for your enquiry. We do need more information from the steering column, please could you remove the wheel and send in photos of the steering column. Does it have splines or a hexagonal fitting? If splines, we need the number of splines, the diameter of the splines and length of taper (if any)."

Is it just these 6 bolts that hold the wheel in place?...

So any similar wheel that has that bolt pattern will fit?

In the photo from Three D Muck the bolt pattern is the same as on my Personal Grinta....but when you look at the bolt pattern on the pic from Harvy 500 or Adrain@ it is different.

When you remove the standard wheel do you see other bolt holes on the boss for alternative fitting?

Check the bolt holes...12 o'clock, straight ahead or you are going to have to play ...I have changed numerous wheel and have 8 or nine laying around, the wooden one in my picture is in my 280DH with TVR SEAC 4 dial dash interior, which matches perfectly with the dash (as I said the silly centre had to go). Mota-lita made it all very complicate and it was going past £400+
