Just pulled the dash and gauge pods from my 94 Griff and I’m having a horrible time finding someone here in the states to redo the veneer and refurbish the clock and rev counter. Any recommendations of places that will do a mail in ? Thanks in advance !

I got my Chimaera replacement dash from TVR MADS and am very happy with the quality and when I got mine cheaper than having mine refubished.

Depending on which dials you have Ceabont couldn't have been more helpful and cheaper than a battered 2nd hand one from a local scrap dealer. Your 1994 model may be earlier than used these dials though.

A few years ago, I had cracked veneer on a Chimaera dash so I scraped it all off (that takes a while!) and used carbon effect sticky backed vinyl. It's not to everyone's taste but quite a few people have done it:

In a '94 Griff, he'd be wanting the earlier black rimmed gauges I expect. Caerbont only do the later ones, I've not seen any of the early ones available 2nd hand. frown

I recently re-did the dash on my Chimaera. It was not that difficult. I ordered a number of different vinyl designs from Ebay to test. Some wood grains (they didn't look real up close), brushed metal, and "carbon fiber" gloss and a matte. The gloss carbon looked good but decided the matte finished looked real from inches away.
As far as your instrument calibration...there is a company in California that is well known. They did my Alfa Romeo. I cant think of their name right now.
If you haven't taken the dash apart yet, I would advise shooting a lot of pictures, front and rear, to help with re-assembly. I took each instrument out of the dash and re-assembled them and left them connected laying in the dash area.
Good luck with it.

Next time I do the veneer, I'm going to hydro dip it. The heat plays havoc with the veneer.
