Hi everyone! I've got a 1992 4.3 Pre-cat Griffith and I've noticed that even when I turn off the heater controls, hot air keeps flowing from the heater. With Greece's summer temperatures soon hitting 40°C, this is becoming quite uncomfortable! Is there any way to stop the heater from working or solve the problem ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have a look here:

http://www.bertram-hill.com/heater-problems.html

It makes a big improvement but you will still get some heat soak through the bulkhead and transmission tunnel.

Even with the Heater matrix by-passed beneath the dash, mine still gets hot in the UK summers.

Best advice. Wear shorts, T-shirt and sandals.beer

Probably be restoring it to STD as it reduces the amount of coolant.

What no photo of your car?

cool
