Hi, I’ve found that most of the time when I start my Griffith from cold the rev counter will read around 2K and then drop to show the correct revs when it’s warmed up a little. It’s certainly not revving that high and I’m sure it doesn’t always do it.
I have got rover gauge so I could compare what that’s showing I suppose.
Just wondered if this is something they all do?
Cheers

That’s odd - mine doesn’t do that anyway!

Check all the connections at the ignition coil are nice and tight.

Thanks I’ll check the wires at the coil, is that where it gets the signal from? I assumed it would be from the ecu.
