Hi, just started to notice a fuel smell. More notably on startup, but in general more.

Even does it when tank 1/4 full.

Fuel hoses under bonnet all shiny new, ditto ones underneath.

Any thoughts?

Have you checked the return line which is behind the drivers side rear wheel which goes into the top rhs of the tank.

Runs pretty rich on cold start, so that won't help, but if you can smell fuel whilst stationary, and not running, then I'd be worried.

Hi, will check pipes to tank. No smell when not running.

Thx.

Not disturbed the tank vent pipe that runs up to the carbon canister have you?
Great info here.

Hi, actually that is a good call. I don’t think I have ever clapped eyes on the carbon canister. Assume offside in the boot? Anyone got a photo?

Thx

Front wing as I recall , follow the hoses as they disappear into the wing.

as above, roll over valve is in the boot and you should see another rubber fuel hose running to the front of the car to the canister but maybe a previous owner has deleted it?
if deleted you should find out where the hose has been positioned at the rear of the car as some just cut it off and leave it vent to atmosphere.
