Hi, does anyone here now own my old 4ltr Griffith, which I sold to a dealer in 2013 when I went to work abroad. I’m interested to own it again and I see from the Gov website it has been SORN since 2020 and road tax ran out same year. I hope the owner was ok through covid but can’t understand why it’s been unused for so long. Any info would be most welcome. Thanks, Piers

The last V5c was issued in April 2015 so it is in the possession of someone without moving home for over 11 yrs. That's not a big help, but it probably means it is looked after.

MOT expired in Aug 2020 but showing as SORN currently so it s still about somewhere. It showed passed with no warnings every year from 2015 to 2020 so whoever bought it in 2015 must have looked after it.

Thank you, and yes I can see the past tax and Mot history and the owner bought it the year after I sold to a dealer. I hoping to get a chance to buy it back if they have no further use - hoping the SORN start date in Covid lockdown is not a bad sign. The car club have no details so I’m going to ask DVLA if they will forward my request to the owner to contact me. A long shot but I started some renovations and would like to continue if possible. Thanks

Post up on the various TVR Facebook groups (TVRCC, Griffith Owners etc ...). That you're interested in buying it back. Owner can then message you.
