I need a pair of front tyres for my Griffith I did have Toyo 215 / 55 R15 91V, what is the best replacement for them in the UK, who is the supplier of them?

I damages the F/N/S putting the Grif back in the barn after Drive it day

Thousands of threads on this within these TVR forums - likely the others too. Many recent with reference to size, costs and driving preferences / styles.

Brew yourself a pot and scan through the forums.

In the last few months those original tyre sizes seem to have disappeared almost completely: https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/tyres/215-55-15.h... but £500 a corner and likely very limited life. Most just switch to 225/50/15 https://www.mytyres.co.uk/search?season=&width... or 205/55/15 https://www.camskill.co.uk/m53b0s289p219811/Yokoha...

That's the correct size from new. The OP's car having 215/55 x 15 (a novel solution) are about 4mm wider in diameter, so would have been close to fouling, when new anyway!

I had a Chimaera once with 225/50 x 15 tyres on the front and the o/s one would foul the front chassis rail on full lock. (

If you want to go spendy biggrin

The site recommends this for the S that uses 205/60. Maybe available in the 'correct' size. https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/205-60wr15-michel...
