for me just putting down a deposit on a £20K Griff 500.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-9co8KPezM

Its not a 'review' video as such but does successfully convey something of the Griffith ownership experience, nice sound editing also.

Picking this up next week...will probably go back to a walnut dash as love the traditional look/feel....but other than that no plans.

Wish me luck!

Looks well priced that to be fair, enjoy. Just make sure the chassis is ok as someone else may see it as fine but others not.

I noticed that Griff in the PH classifieds. I thought it may sell quite quickly. Nice one. smile

Yes good point, all the work, and it was quite an extensive list! was done by a company called TVR101, I don't know anything about them but the chassis was inspected while up on the ramp and given a thumbs up

I've just watched the video... I've been wavering between a tuscan and a griff. No longer...

Jag now up for sale, Griffith hunting ahoy!

I presume they are providing a new MoT? It is still listed in the classifieds I notice, with no mention of 'sold' or 'deposit' received, similarly in C & C. You wouldn't want to be gazumped!

Looks lovely.

I have not regretted buying mine once since I picked it up in December.

Yes I saw that video. I thought it was great. The chap comes over really well and sums up the Griff perfectly..

I had one about 15 years ago and loved it. After time away I've recently been honing in on T350s but keep telling myself I should just try a Griff again in case I actually prefer it...The video doesn't help..

Nice car by the way OP. I'm sure you'll live it..

"The total spent since July 2023 exceeds £16,000" ; sold for £19,995.

Either the previous owner sold it for almost nothing, or that's a big financial hit for the current seller.

Car passed, though surprisingly has an advisory:

Nearside Front Shock absorbers has light misting of oil (5.3.2 (b))

I say surprisingly as it had 4 new shocks in 2023...but its only an advisory..

The seller owns this:

Really nice guy, very helpful, just wish I could afford some of those beauties!...probably not short of a few bob

I saw that ad too - I think it had an engine turned ally dash? I’ve had a basketweave ally and a wood dash, but the engine turned is my favourite.
Enjoy - looks like a nice one.

Looks lovely, have fun, nothing else like a well sorted TVR for all year driving experience.

TVR101 is run by Woodie (Stephen Woodrow) based a few miles west of Farnham. They have an excellent reputation and Woodie has been around TVRs for 25 years or so, knows them inside out.
