Mini 30 anniversary

Hi another mini question for you pros. Do you know what engine a mini 30 anniversary 1989 would have? Every time i type in "classic mini" in google i keep getting old apple computers up so i was hoping you guys could help me out?

Was hoping that it would be a 1275cc for that bit more power. How do the 998cc run, fast enough for the a roads ect? thanks for the help.

depends what you want, yes they keep up with traffic but aren't particularly fun.

Yep, 998cc.
I have a Mini 30.. Runs a lot better with a 130bhp 1330cc turbo lump

a properly modified and tuned 998 can be just as quick as a poorly maintaned 1275 very easily, there are all sorts you can do stage 1 kit, go further and stage 2 head etc, but whatever you do get it set up properly to see the benifits
