Hello
Can anyone advise on whether or not I need to have rear seatbelts in my mini in order for it to pass its MOT?
Is there a year from when they would definitely need to be fitted?
Thanks in advance
Rich

If you don't fit the rear seat, do you need the seatbelts?

So if I take it without the rear seat in it will pass the MOT?

I think the MoT regulations say that after 198x, all seats must have properly fitted seat belts. Thus no seats = no belt requirement. It's worth a go.

I popped down to the test station and they didn't seem to think that it needed the rear belts. Happy Days!!
