Has anybody had any suspension issues with the new L405 RR. I've had mine from new and it has been back to the dealer 3 times to have changes or upgrades to the suspension to stop it knocking when going over uneaven ground, usually at slow speed. LR have now said it is possibly a characteristic to the suspension.
To be honest I'm not very happy and wondered if other owners had a similar problem.

I have a friend who has had all sorts changed to rid his of a knock ...the car is being taken back by LR and a new one supplied.
At the moment they think its a shaft inside the steering column or servo ...his view is they said that about the engine mounts / gearbox mounts, and most of suspension.
Its not a regular knock ...sometimes its there and some times it disappears on the same bumpy bits.

Thanks for the replies. It is a Sept 2013 5.0 SC Autobiography and to be honest wasn't aware of suspension alternatives. I have driven another with the same problem and cannot believe people would put up with it .... its like driving an old car with the shocks gone.

Thanks, that is the outcome of all me research but Harwoods will not regonise it and say there is no problem, I can prove the history of all the threads to prove it and even the technical bulletins but they maintain that they cannot replicate any problem....it is like they will not acknowledge the issue exists.

Now here's an annoying blast from the past. Sorry to hear you've adopted the same problem. They will deny the fact ..they are paid to. I got a good solicitor and issued court proceedings and up till the very end they played the game. In the end they refunded me the value of the new car (less a couple of k) as I was just happy to wash my hands of it. Caddyshack
I had similar issues. Not sure if this replicates it for your car but going over sharp speed bumps at slow speed either square on or approaching from diagonal at sub 10mph seemed to replicate it consistently on mine, so I was able to demonstrate it to dealer.
Best of luck. Before approaching Harwoods again perhaps also worth looking at the manufacture date on the front air shocks to see if they have already been changed as from experience its either those or the front active anti roll bar system playing up. Symptoms show like knackered bushes on an old car.

Glad to be of help.
I too swapped to 20inch wheels to try to get an improvement in low speed ride before the fixes were implemented. The smaller wheels do help but by far the biggest improvement was the update to active roll system (think it was revised valve blocks).
That said it seems to be getting worse again less than 12 months down the line.
