Hi,
I'd appreciate recommendations for improved demister on a 300tdi Defender, there are two off the shelf kits, one the original "defender demister" and an alternative from Mud. Have any PHers fitted either?

Part of the plan to improve ventilation is to fit an 80mm extractor fan to the back door to suck out stale air and reduce condensation build-up.

Cheers!

I 3D printed a piece of pipe with a small take-off that goes before the windscreen vent behind the dash. The have a piece of 25mm pipe to the end of the dash where it exits through a 3D printed vent onto the side window.

Perfect side mirror vision and a whole load cheaper than the kits.

You can get electric stick-on demisters for the rear windows too.

Thank you for the tip.

Rear does not need demisting - the stale air needs to be removed from the car hence the extractor fan.

Not sure if this is what you mean but I put one of the above in my T% van and my daughters C4 with astounding results.
both Car are completely Free of condensation when both where very wet inside due to condensation.
Hope this helps.
