Advice on buying a range rover and mpg

Hi, I am looking to spend about 25k on a range rover vogue, I am a little confused by the differing engine sizes and stated mpg. Any advice on ones to avoid or look for? Which will get me the most mileage for my money? From what I can see I'm looking at a 2010/2011 plate for my budget. Thanks
