Do you need lift the body to get heads off RRS 4.2 supercharged

I've got valve problems with my RRS 4.2 supercharged AJV8 due to running LPG for about 70k miles.
We've made a start on stripping it down, supercharger and inlets off.
Just looking at the exhaust manifolds and wondering if it's possible to remove heads while engines in situ.
Does anyone know if you have to lift the body to get the heads off on a supercharged?
