FF and Sport Comparison
Discussion
Just in case anyone is curious......
I've just picked up an '09 3.6 Vogue in LHD for a chum of mine in France. Drove it the 100 miles back to my place and couldn't help but compare the experience to my own '10 3.0 Sport.

First difference is the size.....the FF feels so much bigger inside and out, not any more plush but big on volume. Many of the gadgets are the same but with different buttons so easy to just jump in and go. The V8 doesn't sound bad for an oil burner and it's certainly pretty peaceful inside with the legal limit reached at about 2000rpm. In fact the loudest thing in there was the wind noise across the sunroof, it'd be a pleasure for a long haul.
On the move, nothing to choose between the two versions with performance, neither are sports cars but they lope along quite happily and the 'box in the V8 was more than quick enough to change down when asked. 29mpg on mixed roads for the journey according to the computer, about the same as I'd get in mine.
The ride was an entirely different issue. The FF is streets ahead. This is on 19's compared to the 20's on the Sport but that's not enough of a difference to impact here. I'd heard it would be better....but I'd not expected this kind of upgrade.
Do I think FF is better? If you can cope with the extra bulk then yes, certainly just for the ride. The boot is bigger and so are the rear seats so good for grown ups. After that, it's just personal preference.
My wife prefers the Sport, I'm not so sure!

What's the rear seat like in the FF? Does it fit three in comfort, or is it really only good for two?
IMO it's good for 3 average sized adults on a long drive.I'm 6'2" and its probably not great for 3 me-sized people in the back.
(I had a FFRR TDV8 4.4 MY11 for ages and loved it).
