Evoque rear hatch alignment & service price.

Hi,
The rear hatch of my 2012 Evoque does not line up properly, it is too low when closed. I've been told this is not covered under my extended LR warranty but I understand this is maybe a common issue with this model so should I push for them to sort this or is it unlikely they will do it ? Failing that is it a difficult job to do ?
The car is also due a service & MOT soon for which they've quoted me £ 385.00 which seems bit steep. This is for an 'A' service & the car has done 23k miles.
It is an Si4 Dynamic Auto.
