I am looking to move back to the UK/London and was thinking about buying a fullsize RR or SVR and wanted to know if these thefts are still taking place where they scan your key and can just unlock and take the car.

Appreciate your opinions as if it is the case I will go another route.

Drop me an email, i can probably help you out.

As a full size RR owner and a SVR sport owner I have got a few products on both my cars to make theft much harder .

Rather not discuss on open forum for obvious reasons.

Fckitdriveon - I've just order a 2018 Vogue SE and have heard quite a few horror stories about Land Rover security issues, in particular with regards to keyless entry / keyless go. If you would be kind enough to also send me a copy of your PM e-mail regarding security tips, I would be very grateful.

Many thanks in advance

LR did a major security update which was retrospectively fitted to our 2014 MY RR in a recall. This does mean if you lose your keys the whole unit needs to be replaced as I was told you cannot replace individual keys as the new security prevents this.
