Apple CarPlay - Discovery 5

Hi all

I’m about to purchase a new Discovery 5 in the UAE which is already built and in stock. I’ve just noticed that CarPlay can now be ordered as an option in the UK, does anyone know if this is likely to be available as a retro software update for existing vehicles ?
