Disco 4 commercial - new owner

Hello All, collected 2016 commercial yesterday. Few hundred miles in and honestly never driven such a capable all round car, it does everything, and feels to have real character. The engine and gearbox are very slick, feels to always be in the right gear and makes driving effortless. Looking forward to hopefully many years of happy motoring :-)

Yeah, they're good aren't they?
I've had my 2014 model for a couple of years now.
A Discovery wasn't exactly my car of choice, but i'm lucky enough to have other cars to play with and the Disco ticks SO many boxes.
My only teeny gripe is when needing to make a quick getaway at, say, a busy roundabout when you want to make a gap. In D Drive the Disco would normally move away in 2nd, but a sharp prod on the throttle isn't instantaneous, as the gearbox decides to shift 2nd-1st before it moves.
My solution is to select S Sport mode and manually select 1st - Much better!
I'll be changing mine soon - Almost certainly for another one.
