Freelander 2 service/repairs?

Hi all

What are the biggest repair/service bills on a Freelander 2 diesel and approx at what mileage do they get done as would prefer those nasty bills behind me if possible?

cambelt and rear diff,
each will take a chunk out of your pocket.

rest of it is cheap really

The slave cylinder failed on ours at 170k.
As it's integrated into the gearbox, whilst you're there you do clutch and flywheel.
Total bill would have been about £1,500, so we let it go.

Other than that it cost nothing from 100k to 170k. Great family car.

Transfer box ? Cambelt isn't that bad and every 10 years irc.
