I’ve a 2015 2.2 Defender with around 200,000 miles. Sometimes when I change gear, the revs don’t drop which can make it very hard to smoothly change gear. Any suggestions for what might be causing this?

Thanks for your response. I've heard that on other forums. A non-LR specialist has said it might be the throttle bodies sticking, but that sounds like a very expensive fix.

Is the clutch switch a simple like-for-like do you know?

Could it be something as simple as the throttle peddle sticking on something?

As it's fly-by-wire, could it be the throttle peddle itself starting to fail?

As a starter, I'd probably be looking at getting some contact cleaner into both the throttle peddle and clutch switch.
