What is the best colour you have seen a defender?

I have always liked black with all the silver bits, but now I'm leaning towards yellow.
It reminds me of layer-cake I think.

Yellow?! D'you want to be mistken for an AA man?
It was a P38 Range Rover in Layer Cake anyway.
Silver is the way forward. Same colour as the aluminium underneath so doesn't show the scratches wink

To be honest I'm quite fond of middle chrome yellow because it was my father's racing colour.

Oslo blue was my favorite, especially with chrome/ally bits.
Had a 110 in Bonetti Grey- looked like undercoat
Presently have a 90 in Black with black chequer plate- I think its the d*gs b*ll*cks

Depends what you want from it. I like red, yellow and orange, although olive drab can look good as can off white.

But do you want it as a statement off roader on big wheels, or more classy with alloys and metallic paint.

That's the problem I'm not sure yet :confused

It has a 2"lift and mud tyres, snorkel and what not.

But I'm not going to go crazy off road with it. I'm going to use it to tow the racing cars short distances, chuck my bike in the back, take it to race meetings my friends are in (horse/car/bike) and stand on the roof to watch, take my friends to the pub, and do the supermarket run in it. (let them open the door on some checker-plate smile)

I just don't know if I want it more Bowler or Bond st.

If you can see the paint on a defender you haven't got it muddy enough yet.

Nice pic of my car smile

Only one colour for me and thats Deep Bronze Green ..tradition LR colour -- would bend to Sage Green as used on the Heritage and early 80's.
