Been trying to get a builder to actually quote up her inthe midlands, and its a complete farce.

They tunr up, act all interested, take the plans away....

and thats the last we hear from them for 4 weeks, til we call and they say they've changed their minds. Anyone want a £25k, 3 month job over winter?

Except for one bloke who quoted best part of £80k!! Must've thought we were born yesterday.

Try a chap called John Vinten based in Bagshot, 07786 314334. Done quite a bit for me (including some blockwork) and quality of work is top notch. Tell him you got his number from Sinclair.

I go out and do quotes and try my best to get back to people with a written quote within 7 days, A standard that I have set myself, then a chase up call 7 days later. I am trying to run a proffesional business that I love doing, And getting away from quotes done on the back of a fag packet .
